I built this little 1/72 Fine Molds kit as part of the Blitzenbuild group build here on BritModeller. Due to time constraints, it was built OOB except for the addition of Eduard seatbelts. Camouflage scheme airbrushed with AK Real Colors Lacquers, markings from the spares bin. Actual build time a little under 5 hours, overall start to finish in 31 hours.

The model represents one of the early Bf.109F-2s first trialled on the channel front in the early spring of 1941. These early machines still displayed a camouflage scheme carried over from late E-model 109s; RLM02 and 70 topsides over RLM65 and with Yellow engine cowlings and rudder.

There are a few things I might attend to after the holidays, such as the aileron counterbalances, the radio aerial, and a few touch ups, but its good enough for the shelf after this quick build.
