Fuselage and wings assembled together. This model doesn't have any details in the cockpit, at least not any worth showing, therefore I decided to omit taking photos of this part of the model. Fuselage primed with a grey primer in spray bottle.

A close-up of the front part of the fuselage. Thick panel lines on the air-intake are a result of my mistake - they had to be rescribed (my first rescribing ever), since they were mistakenly filled and sanded after gluing the air intake to the fuselage.

Wing joints. I wish I had the skill to make panel lines smoother and more shallow.

Seems like too much primer was sprayed onto the bottom. The layer is not even, some parts had to be sanded slightly with a 2500 sandpaper yet there are still visible differences in the finish.

Main camouflage pattern airbrushed onto the model. Painted with Tamiya XF-81 Dark Green RAF 2 / Humbrol 106 Dark Sea Grey. Humbrol 106 is 15 years old (found it among my old toys in my parents' house, thought it was a sign 🙂 )

Mixing Humbrol enamel with a great Tamiya acrylic paint on one model was not a good idea. Even though the Humbrol was applied quite evenly, the final look is somewhat worse than the look of Tamiya's Dark Green.

A close-up of the torn Humbrol. Torn along with a primer. I don't even know how to fix that without sanding down the whole area.

Album info

A building review of my second model. It's my first one painted with an airbrush. In fact, there are lots of "my first ones" in this build.

The album is also my first one on scalemates. In fact it's my first building review album ever.
