@ Gabor: the kit is not to bad (except the landing gear). It lacks some detail, but there are not to many choices in the 1/48 scale 😉

the actual state of the model is bad 🙁. While doing the rigging I droped it, but it's not in the trash yet. Maybe I'll try to fix it

R.I.P - I burried the Duck yesterday. Fixing it up didn't work out 🙁 I guess I have to find a new one...

Grumman J2F-2 "Duck" (Glencoe 1/48_)

the overall fit of this old kit is not to bad. Don't expect rods to be round. The cockpit is very basic and the only thing the landing gear has in common with the original one is, that it is holding the wheel 🙂
The decals look nice
