I have Tamiya X-31 Titanium Gold that I'm using... It's a tan(ish)/soft-gold metallic that I think will look cool [img1]

X31 is bought and paid for 😄 I have a 2012 Corvette in my stash that I will use my silver on, and Nathan... Mint sounds like a great color for a future car. I'll see if I can find a good mint.

NO WAY......You have to paint it sky blue and put flames on it! PARTY ON WAYNE.... PARTY ON GARTH....

Don't forget you'll have to scratch build the Twizzler dispensers:

Mint Might work on a Fifty's car, odd time lots of turquoise, pinks and mellow colors !

Welcome to GoodBurger, home of the Good Burger.... Can I take your order? One of the worst/best movies ever 😄

By the time I get my F-82 done I think Chris will be at #6 or #7...
28 February 2019, 17:30

Lol, you guys are funny and Nathan there's a big difference in me slapping color A onto part #, gluing it together, and calling it good. And what you do with the fine details and attention to detail in it for the long haul 😄 I'm envious of both of you. I wouldn't know where to begin with weathering and detailing...
28 February 2019, 22:49

Primed black, I also got the interior color painted "Bronze Fleshtone"... I like it.
28 February 2019, 22:55

You forgot to add lazy and slow LOL! Its all just different skills. I couldn't begin to be at your level on a car model.
28 February 2019, 23:27

All the base colors are done, tomorrow is secondary colors, clear coat, decals and last clear coat... Building the day after.
1 March 2019, 04:18

secondary colors done... There's only a few decals, then clear.

Hi Chris. Haven't been active recently but I've been following everyone's builds. You've been very busy and I really like the variety of models you've been knocking out. Excellent work my man. I particularly like the Plymouth. It looks awesome. The truck too is fab. I checked out that Euro Trucker game you mentioned. Looks like a lot of fun but I have no time to at present. Maybe if I get a hiatus later this year I'll give it a go. Later!

I've been missing your yellow head around the site 😛 hope your busy days slow down so you can get back to us 🙂 and Thanks! If you want variety, I'm waiting for this in the mail, "The Game Center" (the site has awesome demo pics)... There are 10 trucks in the series, which I will own all of them 🙂 (you can see all 10 trucks if you click the series link on this page). 1999.co.jp/eng/10223466

Engine, Wheels, and Chassis done... may keep working, may go to bed.... choices, choices 😄
2 March 2019, 05:41

I didn't want to add the shocks just yet, I wanted the springs and and rear axle to harden/dry overnight before I added more glue/pressure to fit the shocks in, but yeah, this is all there was...
2 March 2019, 05:58

Done! For the record, this is the 31st build since starting the hobby.
2 March 2019, 21:19

That car is so ugly, it becomes sort of beautiful.
Well done Chris, this hideous imp.
3 March 2019, 08:05

Wow Chris! I knew you started it, but Man what a finish! Sweeet looking!
18 April 2020, 03:51

What the hell is that thing? I've heard that some people can make a silk purse from a sow's ear! Beautiful build of an ugly duckling!
18 April 2020, 11:22

When I see this car, can't help thinking of Bill and Ted 😛

Very very cool subject Chris😎
AMC cars were always derided but they are alll of a sudden THE cool thing to drive.
Pacers, Gremlins, Hornets, Javelins, Matadors......... no body would even look at em.
Did a great job Chris, that gold works perfectly mate & the stance is spot on 👍

What an odd looking vehicle the Gremlin was, and a very odd choice of name, considering the implication of reliability issues being caused by gremlins. The 70's were an interesting time on the roads, you saw a selection of cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s on the road, just pretty much covered with classics.
I remember how sought after all of those were by the 90s, and some even in the 80's, I can't think of much from later than the mid 80's that's as desirable and cool as those were after just 15 years.
