It's a bad days to be German soldier. Sole survivor of fire fight is running away, 3 of his comrades were not so lucky.
Verlinden kits built straight out of box. While box art suggests them to be Waffen SS soldiers (pea dot camo pants) I decided to make them Heer, so Feldgrau pants. Camo cloth on helmet could easily be painted in Splitter camo instead of Oak. So-so fits, common problems with arm/torso joint but that’s what putty exists. Figures had several pieces of equipment such as bread bag, canteen and gas mask already moulded on, something I don’t like as it makes painting harder and slower. Overall I think figures turned out decently enough.
Tried new materials and methods for making snow. Wasn’t sure how much grass should be showing underneath the snow so I went back and forth. Maybe it’s too visible and too bright. Well, at lea
