Danke Neuling. Aimed to recreate that dirty, beat up, patched paintwork which was common in the last "days" of the war

This is a real beauty Alexander. Very well done. How did you execute the chipped paint?

Alec, i did a natural metal basing for this one (partly because there is an unpainted patch on the undeside of the wing on this aircraft) After applying the camo paint i treated the surface carefully with some polishing cloths, a coarse brush, scratched with a toothpick etc. Basically wanted some of the "alu" to shine through. It worked, but not to the extent that I aimed at, so additionally i "painted" some of the chipping with a brush.

Album info
A very well documented "Langnasen-Dora" from Stab JG4 with a Knight's head emblem. Though the exact colors of this machine are disputed, i trusted the "latest" research and painted this beaut RLM75/83. Also note the very peculiar mottles on the engine hood in RLM02
