Soon. Hopefully tonight. Had to give the "wings" 24 hrs to cure to ensure the paint doesn't lift. Masking the solar panels correctly to include the black border strips is providing to be a pain in this scale even with pre cut masks. I can see why a lot of people don't bother and simply it.

Is the grey plate going to be the base?

No, that was me testing colours to try and find the best TIE Fighter Grey. The Death Star Tile that comes with the kit will be the base.

Built the 1/144 scale version of this. Masking the solar panels drove me potty! Beautiful kit. Look forward to seeing this complete.
