Saw that idea here on scalemates to mask the gap you want to close. Worked pretty well.

First paint layer using brushes. Letting it dry now and continue the next days.
Next step taking care about the edges.

Used revell Aqua color with water  

 

 

 

 

Please give me a break 🙂 This is hard.
I used a mat coat all over using a brush. Also for the colors. The surface is not 100% smooth. Placing the decals is very hard to me here. With wich decal to start also was not really clear to me.
So, just go for it and try.

Note to me: Next time look for a smoother surface and use glossy lacquer. Place decals. Again a layer of glossy lacquer and the mat coat at the end.

I also used Decal Soft from Revell.

Letting all dry now. Tomorrow I’ll add a layer of clear coat.  

Finished. This was my third kit after more then 20 years.
Lot of experience gathered with this kit and I’m happy to use it for the next kit ??
