F-4E Phantom II

Started this a while ago after reading all the horror stories about poor fit, detail yadda yadda. How bad can it be , really ???

Well the answer is mixed. I had absolutely no fit issues , even the Phamous phantom intakes phitted without philler. Ok the rear step is there on the moulded aft fuselage but no biggie to deal with.

Fitted some eduard pe to smarten up the office, lots of cussing later I should have stuck with the decals !!! It was for the hasegawa kit but how different can the cockpit be? (A lot is the answer)

I had this kit but got rid of it, so never built it. Will be interesting to see how you get on.

TBH it's nearly done, wip is in my gallery, feel free to comment, it's certainly not 100% accurate but I think it's coming along ok.

So the plan is to move the relevant seats next. When I say move , what I mean is the mk5's I have in my hase f4 will go into this, the academy mk5,s will go into the hase kit and my resin seats into the academy.
