Hi Guys,
I´d like to ask you for a help. I´m trying to build my first tank. I´ve got it by post and, unfortunately, some parts are damaged. Worst pieces are in pictures. Can you advice, please, some possibility how to fix it? The easier, the better. 🙂
Thank you very much in advice!
🙂

You're talking bout those little broken hooks? You could make some out of plastic stock, no? Or, cover that area with a camo net or tarp/bedroll etc.

Yes, exactly. To do it from small piece of plastic is also my idea, but I´m a bit afraid of exact curves on such small pieces = how to do it and then how to glue it on the broken parts.
Anyhow, thank you very much for an advice.

ya, some jerry cans weighing down a camo net might be an option then😉

Miloss, my 2 cents is Find some 10-12 gauge automotive wire, strip the insulation and use a strand of copper wire. Bend it in the shape you need. Then flatten it by setting the piece on a hammer or vice and hitting it with a hammer. Go slow until you get the same thickness, trim it and CA it down. That will easily repair the hooks.

Interesting ideas, thx. 🙂 I spent a couple of hours today trying to reproduce original pieces from plastic profile.

Well, I think, the tank is (finally) done. I was afraid of a lot of new things (my first model, first time I worked with airbrush, pigments,....but it was pointless fear, that only created a huge delay in progress. It´s not a masterpiece, but I hope it´s not really bad.
Next steps are going to be to create a base and to finish some figurines. Thank you very much for help, I really appreciate your kindness.
