I started modelling when I was a child and after a few aircrafts, ships and tanks I found myself bored of just building a single model and put it in a showcase. At this point I built my first diorama but then stopped modelling for a pretty long time. But my interest in history combined with modelling never stopped, so I started again 2 years ago and love every day I can work on my projects.

My favorite interests are the European theater operations of the US, particularly Normandy and Holland campaign. My focus changed with my latest diorama showing a scene during the last days of war in my hometown.
The military history of my hometown has a long story and was a main part in the development of the city but the prominence is poor to the people.
I was lucky to find some hardworking guys recreating the military history of my hometown and make it available and interesting for everyone. Their research material includes tons of stuff for dioramas and I really like to be part their work with my models making history available and clear for everybody. So I focus on scenes that took place during the occupation of Magdeburg in April 1945.
