Got this in. Figures are quite a bit smaller than comparable Dragon figures. Box is neat and small. No colour indications are given. There is a lot of tidying work to be done before painting

Yes, this kit is ancient, I have two sets (one came with the old stug III). There's probably some good online references..I wouldn't trust the Tamiya guide because the cut of the jacket changed later in the war, so you are limited by the timeline for painting purposes.

there were a couple of different camo patterns, incl. a soft edge splinter and a hard edge splinter. Ron Volstad's paintings on the Dragon kits are pretty good refs too. The early war smocks were light field grey in colour, also.
