I am a Retired Army NAF Bowling Mechanic born in Alabama & raised in Florida, married to a German & living in Germany.

I have been building model cars & occasional truck since High School (or before); I am trying to build an N-Scale Model Railroad (American power); have a 160 Liter Aquarium; have built about 20 computers; enjoy bicycling and reading (westerns 🙂). I am working a Mini-Job at a German Bowling Center here in Bamberg.
I'm building a 1/8-Scale Eaglemoss model of a 1954 Mercedes SL300, as an "abo" (subscription) member, getting 6 issues every 6 weeks - it's a little over halfway through. We (abo members) should be getting the body the week of 22 Feb. It will weigh almost 10 kgs. (22 lbs). I just got about 20 kits my sister mailed to me from the States which had been in storage about 30 years.
