Returned to modelling in my 40's after talking to a colleague at work who collected rather than built aircraft kits. My intention was to start with aircraft again but I soon digressed to military vehicles, initially primarily WW2 German. Lots of kits started but not that many completed so always something to go back to. I have now started weathering, shading etc. but find myself reluctant to experiment as I don't want to ruin a kit. I need to remind myself it's a learning process!!

Update ... german WW2 AFVs has now developed into WW2 allied & russian, Modern AFVs & MRAPs, and I've also added a couple more aircraft to my stash. On the bench at the moment is the Academy M1A2 Abrams with TUSK2 (ready for painting) and I have made a start on my Stryker engine
