I'm not so happy with this build. The cabin roof didn't align very well with the doors. Besides this I sometimes lack the experience, confindence and products to weather more and I don't want to spoil the model after all the effort and time.

You've done a great job Scwarzadler. Looks like you've dry brushed it nicely and added a few subtle rust spots. If you wanted to add more weathering, you could try a mix of earthy chalk powder. I use a kids pastel chalk set, scrape off the colours I want into a powder and apply it with water or white spirit. Rub off what you dont like. 🙂

I think we all at a certain point in our work, go through the same doubts, it's normal. speaking for myself, I try to take small calculated risks, sometimes they work out, others not so much, but it is with these experiences that I evolve.
As for the bad fit, even the originals of most of these trucks were also like that with some use, so...
