Yes, some good stuff there. For the most part, my references come from my experience working around trucks with quite a bit of googling to fill in the gaps.

Excellent progress mate! Gives me fond memories of doing my Transtar Eagle 2. A very similar kit, but the plumbing is slightly different for the exhaust and air cleaner.

It's a very well designed kit - all new tooling and the parts come out clean and crisp. Honestly, you just need to shake the box up a few times and a finished truck will fall out.
That's probably why the paint still looks good too - bumps and scratches tend to happen when fiddling with ill fitting parts.

Brandon, I love that dashboard, but your attention to detail is amazing!
What did it for me, was the power lead and antenna lead, disappearing into the headlining of the cab!

István, unfortunately you can't see much of the inside, but we know that it's there, and done in fine style. I guess that it's possible to open up the doors, but with the timescale that Brandon has, I believe that he's already excelled himself? In fact, he just keeps getting better, the lucky bugger! 😉

Q: Re. the shiny metal bands around the two fuel tanks. What aftermarket parts are these, or, what material? Steel? Chrome painted brass? Chrome painted styrene?

Hi Treehugger, those bands were part of the photoetch set I used from Czech Truck Model (all chrome plated brass)
