Following.The shading technique looks fantastic. What's the purpose of adding the masking putty? (image 6)

Because it is a two-color camo 🙂 RAL8000 + RAL7008. The difference is so small that I don't know why the Germans used such camouflage 🙂

Right, now I see it..... indeed hardly noticable in the picture. . but great paintwork anyway
