This is the first model that I paint with airbrush. To get as much practice as possible out of it I painted the invasion stripes instead of using decals and used two different shades of olive drab on the wings. (Afaik invasion stripes were painted over once the planes operated from airfields in France)

Decals are applied by now and the first stage of weathering (discoloration mostly on the darker OD and chipping) is done.

I had the crazy idea to do something daring and add some pipes in the wheel well. Whoa, that was tricky.....
