Learning how to wire up micro smd led lights and adding resistors so they don't burn up and have ideal brightness.  

 

My decided on wire layout  

Blade surgery to run fiber optic tip lights.  

1.25 JST micro connector for external power plug  

 

Test blade for wiring tip lights.  

Removable connections so nacelle installation at the end will be easy.  

 

Modified driveshaft bay caused a bit of interference with this kit as it is for the old italeri one.  

 

 

Italeri engine kit fits really nice in here all things considered. Recommend for sure!  

 

 

 

A lot of surgery required but it fits okay enough. End result is really nice  

 

 

Cut the upper crew door out to see cabin.  

Had to add the bottom of midwing for when it goes into full stow.  

Couldn't help myself even though it's a low visibility area.  

Made lower crew door steps.  

Steps turned out so good I ended up having to cut the lower door out too.  

Probably would've waited until the end to add the brake line wires. But not too bad.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enhancing the deck a bit to be closer to the real one.  

Upper crew door inside which is visible once opened.  

Added some avionics bay panels since door was cut out.  

 

Intake mesh for the environmental control system.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Added spot for ramp actuators 

 

Forward cabin came out nicely 

 

 

3 cabin dome lights  

2 cockpit dome lights.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Long process of adding wires, hyds, emi sheathing, AC etc to bring the cabin to life.  

 

 

 

Scratch built life raft came out too perfect. This part was a lot of fun.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everything goes through servicing canister like the real aircraft.  

 

Photo etch static wicks.  

 

Clear parts fit so perfectly. Hobby boss ?? 

 

Rough fitting folded blades to get alignment taken care of.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Left a rudder grey as these parts get swapped out during maintenance  

3 tone scheme isn't super noticeable but to be accurate it needed to be done.  

 

Random panels getting slightly different colors.  

 

 

 

Roughly 360 total stripes wide.  

 

7.5 hours Masking for nonskid texture.  

Subtle but so worth every minute.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can see it ever so slightly if wings are folded.
