Is there a way of adding captions to images, once they've been added to an album?

for every model 1 project! 🙂
yes you can add captions afterwards, when you look at an image in your album you will see a small "pencil". When you click it you can add/modify the caption

yes, just click through the pics and click on the pencil in the lower left edge
