Interesting what this monster would do to the streets...A funny, nicely done idea!! Good job!!

... if ...
this thing weighed a thousand tonnes and if the contact patch for the tracks is about 30m long say by about 4m wide per track that totals about 240 square metres which is about 4 tonnes per square metre, assuming half the area is gaps between the treads that's still only 8 tonnes a square metre, about 80% of 1 atmospheric pressure, better than your average trucks weight distribution and about the same as your average car roughly. I reckon the roads might handle the weight of it traveling in straight lines, occasionally at least😉
turns might chew up the tarmac though,
plus road tax & insurance could be a problem 😄
But at least parking would be easy, even if it is just someone else's problem haha 😄
Still though it's a great diorama of unusual subject 👍 🙂

@All: thanks for the revival (the model was finished about two years ago)!
@Choppa: on the fourth photo in the foreground you can see a small group of protestors with their signs (in German): "Stop the Rat" and "Save our Roads" 🙂

Album info
There are some protester with banners (maybe hard to see) but their main gripe is that the "Ratte" will damage the roads 🙂
