May 28, 2017This kit was bought second hand 20y ago. Nose section was already built up. I immediately stripped the paint and kept everything in a plastic container since.2
May 28, 2017Fuselage was assembled. As the wings will be swept, I elected to cut out the wing boxes entirely, as the plastic in the area was rather thin. The fuselage intake area was widened to correspond with the Triple Plow II intakes.3
May 28, 2017For rigidity I added a plasticard floor to the wing boxes.4
May 28, 2017View of the rear fuselage.5
May 28, 2017Underside view of the main gear well, the widened intake area, as well as the auxiliary air doors which I have posed open to simulate running engines.6
May 28, 2017It's a mess now, but after sanding down it should all hopefully look a bit more tidy.7
May 28, 2017The intake air flow vanes were individually glued.8
