The brass colored parts is my attempt on scratch building two Mk84 bombs in 1:144 scale.

I did! I used the Eduard drawings from their 1:48 scale set as reference (at least to me, they look to be the best drawings I could find and were closely scaled to 1:48 ). It was a matter of recalculating all the dimensions. I'm a novice at turning and my lathe is the simplest thing you can get, so there was a lot measuring and shaping with a file and sand paper.

Great turned bombs! Will follow, not just for nostalgia's sake since i grew up with Revell's 1:144 jets!

My deepest respect! The engineering on those new Revell 1/144 F-16s is so promising but the execution into molds is done so sloppy that I put aside mine... Yours looks so cleanly built! Amazing!

Thank you! Patrick, indeed the kit details look really nice, but for everything to fit properly it requires some filing and careful trimming. The area that requires most attention if the air intake! It required a lot of filling and filing, but as I want to depict an early A, I needed to remove some details on the intake sides anyway!
I hope to post more soon.

Getting closer to completion! Lower fuselage already has its panel lines marked with a very thin technical pencil (0.3mm). That process has just begun on the upper fuselage (only rear is done).
I hope to complete it soon

Whauw! I like what you did! Especially that technical pencil! Is that an ink pen or something?

Thank you for your kind comments. The pencil I'm using it's a normal HB lead pencil. It works well on these small models and any mistake can be easily erased.
