Thanks... I did a lot of work to get the Aluminium doped areas looking as close to photographs of the real aircraft while trying to get the metal finish of the front Aluminium plates to contast as much as possible.

The build is more perfect than the banjo playing Harry. Could have used a hint of exhaust soot to break up the silver but not essential. Usual effort Mate, 9.99997 overall. Just a little room for improvement! I'll do better. (One day if I live to 250) Love it Harry, wouldn't mind a few more pics though! Cheers Mate!

Album info

I must admit I have been putting off the final rigging. But tonight I just bit the bullet and got on with it. My Airfix 1:48 Hawker Fury is done. Might be some little things I notice with fresh eyes tomorrow which may need attention, but for now she is rigged, wheeled and ready for flying. Not the best of kits. The moulding is now very old and worn out, but I managed to get something out of the box.
