Dauntless

The Accurate Miniatures kit has a great interior for and it was enhanced with an Eduard color PE set. I put some additional cables in using lycra rigging material and lead solder. 

The interior was painted interior green. I need to do some weathering on the pieces and parts before the fuselage halves get closed up. 

I've been using the In detail and Scale publication as the primary reference. So far everything is looking close enough for government work when it comes to the -3 version. 

The original decals went down without any issues. I really like the AK Interactive Real Color paints.  

 

Had to do some sanding on the canopies to get them to stack properly. There is a lot of PE on the inside, but you don't see much when the seats and MG are in place. 

I lost the front gunsight and used some brass tubing.  

I might have gone a little heavy on the exhaust stain, but the radials were dirty engines.
