I'm in... it seems very familiar somehow... for such a nice little kit, it does take a surprising amount of putty to tame. Great work on the cockpit. I shoved a pilot in there so there really was no point, but it's nice to see the details come out.

Thanks Greg. Yes, I wouldn't expect fit problems from Trumpeter, but in this case there is no way around a generous amount of putty.

I had to hide some LED wires in mine, so I knew there'd be some putty work, but I was surprised because closing the wheel wells wasn't the worst part. The nose bugged me quite a bit.

Yup, I'm surprised as well; after first sanding, moving now to finer Mr. Surfaces 500...

Ola Ricardo.

6 June 2020, 13:49

Um Ketten á esc 1/144? Lindo. Eu queria um á esc 1/32 para o meu mas não há.????

Decals applied; a find them a little heavy (contrasted), but they conform very well
10 June 2020, 18:02

wow... that's a very smooth build. I know what this kit has to offer, and you seem to have taken all of it. Nice work!
10 June 2020, 23:00

Thank you; it's almost finished, expect to close this project in the next days...
11 June 2020, 11:14

Thank you Gareth - I went in with another round of scalpel and Microsol, sprayed some MRP Gloss and I'm now waiting for it to fully cure
11 June 2020, 18:07

amazing work in this miniature scale....a break from that beautiful MIG
11 June 2020, 18:16

Thank you Lochsa - indeed, this only took me a few hours to complete so far, even with the scratch made on the gun bay 🙂
11 June 2020, 18:19

Just noticed the scale...wow even more impressive! I've just completed a 144 A-10 Thunderbolt...fiddly!
12 June 2020, 14:41

Got an album of that one Gareth? I'd love to see... I just checked your timeline... the Revell kit?
12 June 2020, 14:50

Excellent work Ricardo. Your process is similar to the one I use. 144 sclae is a challenge for the eyes!! Parabens! abracos
12 June 2020, 20:08

Thank you Micky - I wouldn't say challenging for the eyes... more challenging to the hands! 🙂
12 June 2020, 20:28

It's official: it's tail sitter! The Kettyen isn't enough to hold in place, I will have to setup a base and glue it to it
13 June 2020, 15:28

@Greg...yep the Revell one. I dont think I have any In Progress shots but I do have some of the final build.

Excellent Me 262 and Diorama! Due to your work I have started my own Me 262 that I have in my stash(only that is a 1a and in 1/72) Parabens, Abracos
28 June 2020, 15:32

Very nice Ricardo! Did you built the base just for this model? Or is it a multipurpose one?
29 June 2020, 00:37

I bought it from a modelling shop just for this model; I glued a grass paper from train diorama supplier on top of it, drilled a hole for the brass tube and that was it 🙂
29 June 2020, 14:09

nice work Ricardo, thats a cute little fella👍
I see you also use AK Primer & Microfiller, great stuff
30 June 2020, 15:24
