Thanks very much Bob! I'm guessing you're a vet as well, not many know what a Top is.

Nicely done. It has been through a few sandstorms or shamals. I'm Army too. 29 years.

Your work on rust is very impressive. you certainly know how those things aged!

I built the sd.kfz.7 in DAK service . looks similar to this one. My 9 FMAO is on shelf waiting its turn on the bench.

Thanks for your service Bob, I did four in the beloved Corps before going Army, 35 years but only 12 active, the rest in the Reserve including a couple of tours to the sandbox in the recent unpleasantness there.

Thanks for your service too Brian and yeah all my modeling is a little excessive on the rust, it's my way of decompressing from all the motor stables we had to do 🙂

Thanks Spanjaard, I've been practicing a while, also I'm retired so I can spend that time now.

Cool beans ! Been to the sandbox a few times, Kablamistan a few times and chilled my pills in Bosnia a few tours. Semper Fi ! My grandfather was in the Corps for 33 years ! Love your work on the Armour, was a 19D for the first 8 years and 31B the rest !

Awesome, haven't heard kablamistan in a while (Iraqistan)! My nephew was a tank gunner, did several tours in Bosnia two of them back to back (not his idea). How did your grandfather hack 33 years in the Corps? I did four and rushed over to the Army where I got treated with slightly less abuse LOL. I was 0311 in the Corps, 11B in the Army and then re-classed to 38B for the last 10.

He was my hero, but he is why I joined the Army, he made Gunnery Sargent Hartman look like a girl scout ! LOL !!!!!!!

Those old Corps Marines were a little rough around the edges, they made life way harder than it had to be. One day after an FTX we were assembled and waiting for the very rare Deuce and a half ride back, about 10 miles. The Company Gunny said "The Pride don't ride" and sent the trucks away then road marched us up a dry river bed. When we got back, after weapons and field gear inspection we had to field day the barracks. Institutionalized sadism LOL.
