Andy Ballif that's your first project on SCM!?....wow!!, also I had the same issue with the 48-scale Tamiya Vb regarding the underwing decals...and will resort to paint touch-up with Tamiya's Royal Blue!.....A terrific specimen!!

Christian Kohl 作者Thank you very much for your kind words, Andy! In my opinion, the Tamiya decals are the weak point of these otherwise ingenious kits. For the other Tamiya project, I'll get decent decals from the aftermarket.

Richard BerrieGreat job and great progress photos. Now that is really helpful for newbies like myself. Did you really place all those decals??? I hate that part the most. I usually leave those decals off my planes as the reward rarely equals the effort. Your work is meticulous. I just finished viewing all of your photos and am so impressed and thankful for sharing your process. Do you have any youtube videos? Would love to learn more.

It's really nice to find out something like that! @ Richard: I don't have a blog on YT. That would limit my unfortunately small timeframe for the model building considerably. That's why I will continue to show the progress of my models via photos in the future. I actually used all of the Tamiya decals on my Spit. The kit was created except for a few tin wires and cockpit decals (by Mike Grand) ooB.
