Interesting... It's a shame the transparent parts of the kit are so cloudy.
Nice job with metallic pieces 👍.

No, the transparent parts are not cloudy. The kit provides masks for the transparencies and I have applied them .

Unfortunatelly after a few months the resin wings started to wrap allthough I had reinforced them with steel rod. A repair adventure starts 🙂

Wow, what a bad surprise with the wings!
I would like to know what is the technique you're using on pic 27. Are you building up putty? The result is really good!

Fantastic work and reconstruction. I am deeply impressed with your skills, Elias!

2 ways to built the rib detail:
-I mark and emboss 005'' thick plasticard to make the ribs. Then cut and glue on the wing surface using "lemonine" glue (safe for such a thin plastic). Some trimming and putty required for final finish. See my MS 230 built for detailed photos
-I mask the wing surface and leave the rib lines to be sprayed with 3-4 coats Mr surfacer 500 putty. After unmasking I do a light sanding to blend the raised rib detail with the wing surface.

I ' m happy this project did not end in the dustbin, some spots still need small corrections, some day they will be fixed... i 'm done for now.
Resin wings: never again!
