Very promising start, Peter. And believe, the effect of wood definitely comes through. I do like it very much
10 February 2021, 22:53

Thanks Lode and Rui! Seats are being redone, can't hide them! Got a couple of Copper State WWI armoured cars too! Really enjoying doing different subjects.
10 February 2021, 23:28

The build has been a bit disjointed Chaz. I have only just moved house and can't find things. That said I am enjoying this no end.
22 February 2021, 01:21

There's a whole range of T's from ICM. Will you build them all, please?
26 February 2021, 08:59

Did I blink? It went from "interesting piece of plastic" to "actual little car" so fast. Wow!
26 February 2021, 16:49

Looking nice, Great paint job 👍 Fit issues in a 1:24 scale??? that's a BIIIGGG problem to solve😉
26 February 2021, 18:49

To be Fair Greg, everything from Picture 10 onwards counts as a Road Ready Model T
26 February 2021, 21:20

Roland Gunslinger, it's very nearly finished mate, have another look in a week.
28 February 2021, 09:05

Thanks Nathalie, new concept for me. Despite what I just said to Martin I will certainly do another.
28 February 2021, 09:07

Greg, you are actually right for once! There are very few parts to play with and it's a bit like solitaire, once you get to a point it kinda just falls together. Thank you Pascal, a pleasure! Rui to be fair half the problems were of my own making not being familiar with an ICM model. So many things are out of sequence in the instructions and when you get to them you find that it should have been sorted last week. I am onto them now so the next one won't be catching me unawares! Chaz my dear boy, it ain't over till the Michelin's are painted. I gotta go through some albums to find out the secret to painting white tyres!
28 February 2021, 09:14

Peter and wheeled models. It is a perfect match that one can see in every finished model. Peter, despite issues during the building process (which we all have) is the outcome spectacular, as usual
28 February 2021, 17:10

Thanks Lode for the confidence in my fumbling efforts. I'll get better with practice, I hope!
That black and white photo helps with the choice of colour Chaz. Ummmmm, thanks, I think?
1 March 2021, 02:04

Yup, way back then, they didn't put carbon black in the rubber. I dont know why they don't do white or coloured tyres now.
1 March 2021, 03:07

If you're wanting to get some dirt on the tires, I'd go with a bit of sepia wash on an almost dry sponge applicator and wipe around the tread. I posted the pic just to show original white tyres, the only colour picture I found of white tyres was the box art for the kit.
1 March 2021, 05:23

Chaz, I'm not going to weather it but the tyres are too white. The sepia is a good idea though, I have some Alclad sepia I can mix with white lacquer just to take the edge off the white. Thanks!
1 March 2021, 08:38

I don't see anything to be disappointed with here Peter. 👍
The tyre white looks strange being all one colour.
I like what I see. 😉
Well done mate.
3 March 2021, 06:20

Well Peter, I really like your pragmatic approach to the deadline 😄
I rarely consider my models finished😎 But lately I'm getting better😉
3 March 2021, 23:09

At this point Rui it is more driven by the excitement of starting the next build! Will be revealed on Monday too!
3 March 2021, 23:15

Does that mean that there are so few parts you are doing this in your sleep??
4 March 2021, 05:11

Just found your T - nice! Thx for mention me on your picture description 😉 The fit of engine cover and radiator is problematic, but can be solved with a different mounting sequence and minimal modifications. This affect all kit variants! All the rubber parts and tires were nearly white at that time, the parts are still available today, eg: [img1]
4 March 2021, 11:52

Link linked Bugs! I don't know how I do it Tim, I just get up in the morning look in the mirror and it just happens!
7 March 2021, 09:11

With your modelling budget, everything is finished below budget 😄
Lovely T!
8 March 2021, 07:36

Is that Sherlock Holmes' spy car or why is there this friggin magnifying glass at the top of the steering wheel? 😄😄
Terriffic build, Peter👍
8 March 2021, 09:36

Nice work Peter. Seeing these old Ts does make you wonder how there was anything suitable for a Hot Rod.
8 March 2021, 15:45

Thanks Rui! Look forward to the 35 scale Model T in the WW1 dio you have planned. ????
8 March 2021, 22:38

Thanks Tim. A bit rough and not Bughunter standard but very enjoyable.
Chaz Chaz Chaz, not everything is about hot rods, muscle cars and V8s!
Was a lot of fun Nat! I would recommend one for a change of pace.
8 March 2021, 22:43

Peter, you speak the Word of sacrilege!
I accept that there cannot always be a V8, but I do not see the acceptable substitute V12!
9 March 2021, 16:30

Thank you Peter for mention my name again! I think there are a lot of great car builders here, and since it is not my main business I am very pleased to set some standard with it. Yours is nice too and you know now the corners of the ICM T's which need some attention, so the next one will be even better. And your fun during the build too😉
9 March 2021, 18:20

Well Peter, thx for the shrike😉 I've some 1/35, WWI models, but unfortunatly not a model T 😄
9 March 2021, 22:12

I must be dumb. Don't get the Judge thing.
Chaz, why not a V16. Don't limit yourself.
Bugs, I know you are not a car guy but you are renowned for fixing things in kits. I reserve the right to beg for assistance!
Rui, ICM have a range of Aussie Army Model T's. Maybe a desert scene around Beersheba?
9 March 2021, 22:42

I've seen them Peter and I'm sure they're good, but I don't buy any more kits. I already stopped that addiction🙂
The idea was good though. Thx
10 March 2021, 00:23

Top job & top choice - a Hud with a car built around it! 👍, all in a nice green pattern with a hint of Israeli green on the bonnet😉
Soldier on Pete, looking forward to Your next projects!
15 March 2021, 10:14

nice work...building this now myself and could never do some of the things you did...fun to look at
17 April 2022, 11:57

Lochsa, you may just surprise yourself if you try! Plenty of help here if you ask for it!
18 April 2022, 00:26

Thanks Julian! It is a great kit and also an enjoyable one. ICM are also Kiev based so keeping their economy going at the moment will be appreciated!
