Ha! Meine Schuppentür in 1:1 siehts auch nicht realistischer aus!
12 April 2021, 10:19

Great you´re in, mate! 🙂
Had some experiments to find a satisfying technique to display moss. Finally sand, foliage and some herbs applied with white glue is the desired mix.
Started the base, roughly colored and some details added before applying soil and turf for the ground texture.
25 April 2021, 14:03

Thank you, Xerxes! Meanwhile the groundwork was done as preparation for the vegetation. I used soil, sand, coffee and tobacco for achieving the ground texture.

Almost ready for a For Sale sign to appear 😉 Your observation skills, and ability to mimic reality are amazing, and inspiring.
7 June 2021, 16:44

Thank you so much for your kind comments!much much appreciated, mates 🙂
8 June 2021, 05:55

It's called gardening, Coporado ? My jaw dropped when I saw your fridge! Wow!
5 July 2021, 17:36

Auf Banner-Batterien hat mein Vater immer geschworen. 😉
Toll gemacht, schöne Oxydation an den Polen. 👍
4 August 2021, 09:42

So, just an old tennis ball chewed by a dog, the shopping trolley, and discarded MacDonalds to do?
4 August 2021, 10:58

Thanks for your comments mates, happy you like it! 🙂
@Bruce: nice ideas for some more details, keeping these im mind for the next session on my workbench 🙂

4 August 2021, 16:26

More details came to mind.
Sorry Bruce, tried to scratch build a shopping cart, badly failed. The ball and McD is still on the list 🙂
22 August 2021, 14:40

I had some in mind, found it, but only 1/48.
Shopping Cart (Brengun BRL48058, 1:48)
22 August 2021, 14:45

Okay, Coporado, I'll let you off, but one of those awful plastic pull-alongs will have to do instead 😉 I have to confess to having thrown a rock at an old fashioned t.v. at the local dump, and the screen imploded like a bomb going off ! ! I'm really enjoying having another look through your album 🙂 Totally in awe at your skills.
22 August 2021, 14:46

Nice work Sascha, as always a great pleasure to follow.
I can recommend this shopping cart Shopping Cart (Royal Model 737, 1:35)
22 August 2021, 14:48

Thanks for your Kind comments and the kit suggestions. Keen to place an order for the cart in 35 🙂
Bruce I hope you didn't hurt anyone with your TV bomb on the dump 🙂
23 August 2021, 06:51

So here we go with the shopping cart 🙂 Hope to find some time the next days for test fitting. For more vegetation I tried lasercut- plants the first time. Needs time to paint and shape those.
5 September 2021, 14:19

If you go shopping with this beautiful cart - for me a six pack, please 🙂
=> a piece of plastic foil with sic holes? This is also bad waste in every part of the ocean now.
5 September 2021, 14:35

The weeds (nettles?) look great, as does your new trolley 🙂 Is that a wee scratch on the monitor's screen? 🙂
5 September 2021, 15:17

Thank you mates, your comments are much appreciated, as always!
The cart has received some more details. Not yet glued, final postioning is coming along with the vegetation that needs to be added.
@bughunter: beer is checked on the list 🙂
@Bruce: Perhaps somebody throw a stone?! 🙂
12 September 2021, 14:48

Some bits and pieces were added and finally everything was glued. The prepared bushes and trees were placed to figure out their final position before glueing them. Not yet sure about the positioning and including all bushes in the dio. Comments and thoughts are welcome, mates!
3 October 2021, 09:06

Comparing pictures I vote against bushes, they are more a distraction for me.
But whatever you choose - it's s beautiful setting 👍
3 October 2021, 11:04

For me, I would lose the tree. It distracts the eye upwards, and away from the foreground. It is also a tad spindly.IMHO. I do think the other vegetation looks great.👍 Your vision and judgement are what matter though, as each step takes it nearer to your dream. It still has a sense of neglect, but not over-worked or cluttered. What is your own opinion, Coporado?
3 October 2021, 16:17

I think the tree and the bushes are great, if only because they likely would be present in real. Will looks superb either way 👍
3 October 2021, 23:35

Thanks mates, much appreciated!!!
Finally, after lots of test fitting, I went for the bushes and the vegetation was glued. So ready to go for the water in the front.
@Bruce: You were right concerning the tree. The more it tried to find it´s right position, the more I realized it fits not really into the scene.
Sorry for the bad illumination, really need to get some new lights.
14 November 2021, 14:53

Thanks for your kind comments, mates. I'm really thankful for your patience while following that slow speed project 🙂
15 November 2021, 10:39

This is very impressive. I love it. So is this just nature or maybe some zombies will be added? 😏
15 November 2021, 14:20

Thank you Dominik and Marius!
@Marius: Its just a snapshot of messed up nature, I unfortunately spot far too often in real life. So no zombies to be added 🙂
16 November 2021, 09:39

Your mess is just beautiful! And, it´s a pity: the worst zombies can be the careless people next door .....
16 November 2021, 10:19

The one ray of Hope, is the new shovel that someone has brought. They have quite a job ahead, to clear up years of neglect.....
16 November 2021, 12:33

Thank all of you for your kind comments, mates!
@Neuling: you are so right, its a shame what these zombies dump into nature, a few meters next to the recycling center...
@Bruce: quite a Lot of Work to do there 🙂
18 November 2021, 15:19

Thank you Hugh!
Finally, the water was added using resin. Next is sanding the edges and praying that I can finish this crystal clear.
16 January 2022, 16:39

Beautiful 👍. more transparent than that is impossible 🤔 I wonder what resin did you use? I've used still whater in my Schwimmwagen dio
The Neglected Kit Resurrection Groupbuild | Album by mig (1:35) and it was all blurred.
16 January 2022, 18:27

Tolle Arbeit. Grandioses Scratch, was du hier zeigst. Eine Frage zum Gebäude: Welches Styrofoam hast du verwendet? Hättest du einen Link oder die Marke?
16 January 2022, 18:56

Sheer brilliance, Sir! Superb end result, that reflects all of your careful work. It has been a delight to watch this come together 🙂👍
16 January 2022, 19:10

Thank you for your warm comments, mates!
@Rui: I tried still water and other similar products. They work well for very thin coats like puddles. When it comes to bigger layers these are either blurred or won´t dry out cristal clear.
I used this one here --> shop.breddermann-kun..glasklar-e300GB.html
It´s a 2 component resin with a very, very, yes very long working time (300 minutes). It takes 48 hours until it´s dry. Due to the long working and drying time, there is no heat that may destroy any objects covered with the resin. Absolutely recommendable. The only "negative" aspect is the capillarity. The resin really sneaked in every edge of the riverbank, which resulted in a glossy wet look of the ground texture and vegetation in the whole area around the water. I needed to "repair" that with another layer of soil and sand. Next time I would pour the water before doing the ground cover and vegetation.
@Robert: Ich verwende Depafit.
@Bruce: The dio is not yet completed. The edges need to be sanded and hopefully turn out cristal clear adding some resin at the end. Finally I´m going to add some motion on the water using acrylic gel.
17 January 2022, 05:33

If it was summer now, you'd want to jump in there (apart from the rubbish there), so realistic.
17 January 2022, 10:10

Wow. Landscape skill and knowledge... check! You ticked that box for sure. Incredible work!
18 January 2022, 04:44

Thank you so much, mates! Quite overwhelmed by all your comments. Thank you!
18 January 2022, 06:46

Unglaublich großartig echt! Schaue mir immer wieder die Fotos an und entdecke jedes Mal neue Details! Quelle für Ideen für die Flora um meinen kleinen Leuchtturm.

truly an eyecatcher!!
3 February 2022, 08:48

Completed after almost a year. This project was intended to enhance landscaping and scratch building skills. I definetely can tick that box, gathered some new tweaks and
