Mercedes AMG gt building process

for body color I used Vallejo air gunmetal, very good coverage and pigment, I intentionally did not add too much gloss, as far as I can remember from what I saw this color scheme tends more towards matte. 

The engine bay was fun and easy to paint, the outcome is quite impressive...

The interior cabin ready and flocked. The color of the seats was the thing I especially wanted to emphasize, which is why I painted them a solid color, even though the instructions say to do a two-scheme painting. I tried to get a dark leather color, like in one car I saw but I did almost four different coats and still could not get exactly the desired shade ... (I think Humbrol 62 was the exact color). Anyway the last result was satisfying enough so I left it like that. 

In the end result, the console fits in really nice !!! the gps decal adds a lot. 

The finished product !!! I think it came out fine, but for my opinion the original car itself lacks the "wow" effect. 

 

The detail of the discs and wheels is very nice. 

Carbon roof decal also add interest. The black stripes on the windshields were made by permanent black marker and Tamiya masking tape stripe, it makes the whole process much more easy. 

Rear view. 

Okay now this is a bit of an annoying thing, according to Revell's instructions the rear lights of the vehicle should be painted completely red as I did, but in the photo of the model on the back of the box you can see that there is a transparent strip in the middle of the taillight. In the picture of the original vehicle the whole lens of the flashlight is transparent and the flashlight inside is red as you will see in the next pictures, I had to paint like this it is much more beautiful. 

 

The original car, seem to me the taillight lens is clear.
