Yes, Robert. Most of my more unusual subjects are either built from resin kits or vacuform. It's usually the only way to get the subject. (at least until about two weeks after I've purchased the kit - then some maufacturer will release an injection molded kit at half the price! LOL)

I know the story very well, Dave - I still have few resin models in my stash that are available as model kits represented in polistyrene...

The worst case for me was the Contrails XB-70. I waited for DECADES for a 1:72 kit, and finally gave up and bought the Contrails vacuform kit, only to have AMT release the XB-70 the following year 🙁
