I looked at this many times right now and I can't seem to get over that horrific Flanker nose profile of this Mini Hobby Models kit. Something they (or should I say Trumpeter) seem to have got very, very wrong. It doesn't resemble the original nose profile at all., please see these images of your intended subject:

Maybe try and graft a Quickboost QB 48 116 nose on this kit, I might fit. Left in current state it looks completely off right now.

tyu: Agreed re the nose but decided time/cost not worth it especially since I have 2x much better Su-30 series kits in the hopper from Zvezda and Kitty Hawk. Main thrust here is getting my target audience informed of platform and threat presented rather than nuances (granted big ones) like nose shape. Generally speaking it is a sh*t kit anyway (so many other errors/inaccuracies) that it was borderline tossable. At least I only had to buy the decals…

Indeed much better Su30 kits available at the moment, but at a cost. Will eventually be building a MK2 too but starting from a HobbyBoss Su30MKK.
