That's a stunner Frank. You've even exceeded your own high standards. Your best yet (probably until the next one 🙂 ).

Incredible build from nose to tail. The whole thing is amazing but the cowling alone is a work of art.

Look absolutely realistic (save the ones upside down, of course 😄 ). Fantastic work as always, Bughunter!

Looks like it could take off any second. What a truly amazing build. I don't have the superlatives to properly describe it.

Now I have to say Thank you for your wonderful comments, and the likes.
Gorby, not every "next project" has the chance to look this good (due to the big amount of real wood here).

As usual I discover new detail with every new round of looking the pictures 🙂 Top notch! By the way: very interesting baldachin strut layout.

Thank you Bernhard!
Regarding the strut layout: I mentioned this in my build report. The layout makes really sense, as I noticed during adding the long struts, how fragile it was - until I added more struts. Each and all of them are needed.

This bird has been adopted by Special Hobby on their blog, what an honour! 🙂

Fantastic result, and nice blog entry (sans Freddy's editorial snafu…)

What a beautiful result Frank!
I should visit here more often...

Hi Willem! Very nice to see you and thank you very much! That was one of the special projects ...
@Lochsa Thank you!
I hope that the followers noticed that one too ....

Another gem from Bughunter.
And with compliments from the manufacturer..
Just wow😳, congrats!
20 November 2022, 23:19

Thank you very much! Only modellers can guess roughly how much work has gone into it 👍
21 November 2022, 21:30

Yes, something around this. I do not track hours (on purpose - I want to avoid this "project management" shit: Planning replaces coincidence with error!). It is finished, when it's done.
The cockpit and the wooden struts have taken many hours, and my experiments with the complicated metal undercarriage where the first tries were not successful or good enough.
The next one will be an relaxing oob build. Yes, really Out Of the Box! I will replace only the airscrew with bearing. Of course with many available accessories, but no scratch work.
Is there any interest in a few pictures anyway?
22 November 2022, 18:38

I can't believe it. Out of box, you say? 😂 Definitely interested in watching the OOB build process as well. Post the photos!

Thank you Villiers!
Kyle, a new Album was started, more pics soon.
22 November 2022, 23:20

I can't believe you are realy going to do oob.
But I will take a seat for sure.
22 November 2022, 23:25

Thank you Christoph, but you will need to follow the other Album. This one is finished 😉
23 November 2022, 11:50

Thank you Mathieu and Guy! The wood looks so nice in the cabinet 😉
