Brother Paul (hereafter known as "PK") is building this kit and these are his comments... It has a lot of flash, which is to be expected, I suppose, given the age of the molds. Unfortunately, the compressor disks were "ate up" (as the phrase in this neck of the woods goes) with flash and almost impossible to clean without distorting and breaking off the blades! I cleaned them up as best I could. The assembled compressor assembly spins okay in the vane disks so far and maybe a light coating of Future floor wax will hide the defects a bit. So far, it looks like I can live with it.
