The moulds of Bandai/Revell show themselves to be perfectly fitting and seriously meant model making. However, they do not claim to be masters of detail, but where structures are shown, they are made quite neatly.
I have made some extra detail with etched parts from the spare parts box.
What you see here is the first stage of extension, more will follow with the addition of colours.

A few pictures of the X-Wings cockpit. I am going to open the canopy, letting rest the Starfighter on its undercarriage with s-foils closed.

A bundle of new pictures to this pleasing project. The "love of detail"- for example in the landing gear wells, is quite astonishing! Laser canons, landing gear, engines and so on are in the making as well.
