255 Sqn North American Mustang Ia

Here are some pictures of my latest kit, the Accurate Miniature Mustang under British Colours. The Allison powered Mustang are for me the most beautiful of the family, and I was eager to make one in 1/48 scale one day.

The kit itself is easy to build, and it was a real fun to do. The kit is nearly out from the box, the only additions were Eduard Express masks (now removed...) and Quickboost 20mm barrels ( now on the kit 😉 )
The camo scheme is interesting, as it is based on the US camo, with middle stone added when ths plane was transfered in British hands.
