I'm a 52-year-old Truck Driver. I'll be moving house early 2023 & am working on building up a tasty stash of kits to build once I'm set up in my new home.

My first experience of modelling dates back over thirty years ago to the late-1980s.
I used to build Tamiya 1/20 Formula One and 1/24 cars. My painting efforts were amateur at best, always by brush after a disastrous effort with a spray can. If the plastic was the correct colour, I didn't bother trying to paint white or black & never once did I use a clear coat.
The completed car would then sit on display out in the open eventually collecting dust & the homeless spider.
I gave the hobby away around 1991 but always watched from a distance.

Why am I back? I guess the main reason is I've been bitten by the modelling bug again after watching some absolute genius builds on Youtube.
