Black Cats PBY Catalina

Monogram kit. Awesome fun to build. First painted in light blue gray camouflage - then the black camo in various tones. Finally I used an Mr. Eraser pad to fade away the black and reveal original camouflage on top of wings and fuselage. This method worked pretty well, in my opinion. Managed to snag 2nd place at the local IPMS show for multi engine props in 1/48... My first award!
