Raimondas Ciuplys 作者Added some progress photos. The bow correction almost complete after much daubing and sanding. It is not perfect, but at least there is no well expressed arch of the Bismarck bow. Drilled the portholes, but haven't reshaped hawses completely yet.
I would not recommend the Very Fire PE set as a standalone addition as it follows the the Tamiya Tirpitz/Bismarck hybrid with almost no corrections at all. The Eduard PE, though poorer in detail, nevertheless at least tries to correct some details. Them both in combination and some scratchbuilding can improve her appearance greatly.
I have also ordered Pontos deck for Revell to correct configuration of vents and other details. Much cutting and pasting ahead 🙂
In the meantime, I plan to finish the hull and continue with the funnel and forward upper structure detailing.
