CASA C-127 U.9-04 of the Spanish Air Force, intended to look as she looked in the late 2000s. Originally with the serial L.9-4, she entered service in 1960 and was retired sometime between 2010 and 2014, serving with the Spanish Air Force College at the end of her career. She has been stored in San Javier for about a decade now.
The C-127 was the Spanish licence-produced version of the German Dornier Do 27. The Spanish Air Force obtained 50 examples of this light aircraft during the early 1960s, followed by 26 second-hand German Do 27s in 1971. The last aircraft were retired around 2014.
