Had a go at building models of almost everything over the years, and remain fascinated by the fine art of the mould-maker. I am now mostly settled on aviation subjects 1940 to 1970 (mainly military) and modern military vehicles, both in 1/72 scale (but can still be happily diverted by whatever takes my eye!). Korean Air War 1950-53, Tiger Meet aircraft paint schemes...Yikes...currently the F-16s might be taking over!!!
I am just a little older than the Hawker P1127s maiden flight, and started plastic modelling at around 3 or 4 years of age (the inevitable Airfix kits, a Tiger Tank, followed by an F4U Corsair - my heavens, what a memory I have!).
