I began modeling as a seven year old about 59 years ago, and started collecting when I was 20. Today all of my models are displayed or stored -- along with many from friends and contributors -- at AeroKnow Museum, recently moved from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport. I was involved with a major midwest airshow - Springfield Air Rendezvous - for 22 years. I am a member of Central Illinois Plastic Modelers club which meets every Tuesday, 6 to 8:30 pm at Falcon Hobby Supply on East Ash Street in Springfield. We welcome modelers of all types - armor, cars, airplanes and are considering forming a chapter of IPMS. .
