The QF-104A was a specially modified version of the YF-104A Star-fighter which could be flown remotely controlled. The control was done by F-104 pilots on the ground during start and landing and inside another aircraft during in-flight operations.

Given my fascination with drone conversions, this was an obvious choice! 🙂
