Hi, I'm known as theplasticsurgeon on other forums. Making models since at school, a short break for college, then back with a veneagence after I bought my first property.

Archery is another hobby - I've competed recurve for several years. That image is me just after winning my first trophy. I'm a coach, and attained First Class status for 3 consecutive years.

I'm also a volunteer at Jet Age museum, building many models to help depict the story that the museum is telling.
I retired from employment in 2021, and became a Duty Manager at Jet Age. Full responsibility for operating the museum, and volunteers, for a day from opening-up, to locking-up. Very full-on and rewarding.

Anyway, back to important stuff. Currently have 717 completed aircraft models, and a stash of 95 kits. My build rate increased dramatically since retirement, and astronomically during lock-down!
