Born in the dutch naval base Den helder and my father serving in the Navy woke my interest in the militairy at a very young age. Modelbuilding became interesting but it was only glueing the kit together and mostly a coat of grey or green not on a very serious level.

Ik served for 7 years in the army first in the infantry and later as driver on several types of trucks.

After a pause of aprox 25 years i got back into the hobby and came to the conclusion a lot had changed from filters, washes, photo etch etc. But still feeling a little kid when in a modelshop.
