Airfix' old Vosper Torpedo Boat in 1:72 scale
A re-build of this kit. Some 35 years or so later.

I did not remember how good or bad this MTB kit was in the old days, but I took the chance and to my surprise this kit is ok.

I felt required to move one of the small round window openings in the hull, and in order to make the holes/windows look great, I drilled out the old holes and put in bits of hollowed cylinder styrene. Looks great!

I also have mucho photo etch for the four torpedo tubes, all of that is yet to be put together. The cannon deck is already re-built, with improved detailing. It will be a small challenge to get the new PE torp tubes in place, as it sort of looks like some plastic surgery might be required.
