F-111E - Airfix - Nr. 04008-6 - 1:72

Bought that old kit in the bay for no money to practice some masking techniques. As I did not expect any result that would be worth a second look, I did not pay any attention to sanding and filling. Well; bad decision 😉

At the end the 40 (?) year old kit didn't came up too bad. I built it out of the box only replacing the front wheels with a Harrier main wheel and added some ordnance from the spare part box. Decals from a Hasegawa F-111.

I used Mr Hobby Aqueous Hobby color for the top as indicated in the Hasegawa manual. The bottom was a 60:40 mixture of Black and Olive Drab. Finishing with Gunze Top Coat semi gloss.
