The Academy kits would be incorrect for use a an 'Early Hornet'. They represent later Block 'C' airframes - so the vents on the underside of the nose will be very different. You may have to use an Italeri kit or, I would have to look to be sure, a Hasegawa 'A' boxing. 🙂
